Terms of Use

These terms cover this website and the ElevenVoice software you can download from it. By using either, you agree to them.

1. The software

ElevenVoice is free, open-source software released under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 (AGPL-3.0). The licence, not these terms, governs how you may copy, modify and redistribute the code. ElevenVoice is based on VoiceStudio and keeps its original copyright notices.

There is no paid plan, account or subscription. Nothing on this website is for sale.

2. Voice models and their licences

ElevenVoice downloads third-party voice and speech models (for example OmniVoice, Whisper and others) from their original publishers. Each model has its own licence, and some only allow personal or research use. You are responsible for checking the licence of every model you use, especially before commercial work. Each notice is shown in the app under Settings → Models.

3. Acceptable use

You may only clone, imitate or synthesise a real person's voice with that person's permission. You must not use ElevenVoice to:

• impersonate anyone, commit fraud or deceive people about who is speaking;
• create content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing or that violates someone's privacy or intellectual property;
• bypass voice-based security or identity checks;
• produce sexual content involving real people without their consent, or any content involving minors.

You are solely responsible for the audio, video and text you create with the software and for how you publish it.

4. No warranty

The software and this website are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. AI-generated speech and translations can be inaccurate. Check important output before you rely on it.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the authors and contributors are not liable for any damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the software or this website, including data loss, hardware issues or third-party claims about content you create.

6. Third-party services

Downloads are hosted on GitHub. Models come from Hugging Face and other publishers. Optional online translators only work with keys you add yourself. Those services have their own terms.

7. Trademarks

ElevenVoice is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by ElevenLabs. ElevenLabs and other names are mentioned only for comparison and remain the property of their owners.
